The Enchanted Rose Theatre is proud to present the New Mexico Premiere of “Parted Waters” by Robert F. Benjamin, January 15 through January 24 at The North Fourth Arts Center, 4904 Fourth Street NW in Albuquerque. Directed by Harry Zimmerman, “Parted Waters” features an incredible cast of local talent and promises to deliver a poignant mix of humor and thought-provoking drama suitable for the entire family.
Set in New Mexico, this contemporary tale of three generations of Hispanics wrestling with crypto-Judaism and assimilation into mainstream American culture is a piquant brew of drama and humor. Reynaldo, the eldest of the trio, does his best to navigate these issues and guide his family in true “Tevye-like” fashion.
“With this great cast, and this amazing script, this is a show that theatre-goers will not want to miss,” says Vernon Poitras, owner and artistic director of The Enchanted Rose Theatre. “This skillfully crafted story offers a rare look inside an increasingly timely topic, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to present it.”
Performances will be held on Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. General Admission tickets are $20 and Senior and Student tickets are $18.
